Thomas S. Bosma, DDS, FAGD, FAAPM
A graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Tom Bosma has spent over 3 decades in the practice of general dentistry and treating head and neck pain in Montgomery, Ohio.
Dr. Bosma believes that dental health and medical health are intricately connected and that patients should be treated with that in mind. Dr. Bosma is a Fellow in the American Academy of General Dentistry, Certified Practitioner and Trainer in Oral Systemic Balance® Therapies, Fellow in the American Academy of Pain Management (not recognized as specialty boards by the ADA), Member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Member of the American Dental Association, Member of the Ohio Dental Association, and Member of the Cincinnati Dental Society.
Dr. Bosma's expertise includes Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction, treatment of chronic headache and migraine syptoms, treatment of sleep disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea, and Temporomandibular Joint Disorder ("TMJ") and Muscle Dysfunction. Dr. Bosma has guest lecturer and participated in numerous workshops on the techniques and education of dentistry, pain management, and sleep dysfunction, and has recently appeared on local radio and television. Dr. Bosma is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time golfing, landscaping, and garden railroading.
Elizabeth Brown, CDA
Beth Brown has been a dental assistant for over 30 years. Beth started out in the dental field working for her father who was a dentist in Petaluma, California. Beth received her extended dental functions license from the University of California San Francisco and is an Oral Systemic Balance Certified Therapist. Beth moved here to Cincinnati 3 years ago from Chico, California with her two children to be closer to family. Beth and her family enjoy kayaking, fishing, biking, and swimming.
Michelle (Mickie) Gildenblatt, RDH, OPT
Mickie is one reason Montgomery Dental Medicine maintains its high degree of care and focus on the patient. 25 of Mickie's 38 years as a dental hygienist have been spent with Montgomery Dental Medicine, where she developed the philosophy of treating the patient as a whole person, not just a mouth with teeth! Mickie is an Oral Systemic Balance Certified Therapist and is instrumental in assisting Dr. Bosma in evaluating the overall health of our clients, including sleep difficulties, pain, and nutrition. Mickie is a graduate of Raymond Walters Dental Hygiene School at the University of Cincinnati and past president of the Cincinnati Dental Hygiene Association.
Jennifer Keller-Smith, EFDA, OPT
Jennifer's over 20 years of dental experience includes orthodontics, sterilization, cosmetic dentistry, and business management. Jenn received her Expanded Functions training at Sinclair Community College and is an Oral Systemic Balance Certified Therapist. Her expertise has accelerated rapidly while she has been mentored by Dr. Bosma in OSB and treatment of chronic pain, TMJ disorders, headache, and sleep disorders.
Irina, Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Riga, Latvia, Irina is a graduate of the University Cincinnati. She believes it is important to keep herself up-to-date on the newest dental hygiene advances and techniques in order to offer her patients the most state-of-the-art, comfortable and personalized oral hygiene care possible.
Always striving to expand her knowledge on the latest developments in the field of dental hygiene, she has completed numerous continuing education courses, taking special interest in conservative periodontal therapy.

Nicole Wasson, Dental Assistant
Nicole started her externship in May of 2010 at Doctor Bosma’s office. She graduated dental assisting school from Fortis College in August of 2010. She learned fast and at the end of her externship Dr. Bosma decided to hire her full time. Nicole has attended courses on how oral appliances can help with sleep apnea and cannot wait to get more training under the direct supervision of Dr. Bosma on oral appliances for sleep and TMJ disorders. Nicole has a future goal of becoming an expanded functions assistant.
Kat Beckman, Front Desk / Reception
Kat worked as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a promotional advertising agency for the last 15 years and brings extensive and detailed office experience and customer service to our reception area. She came to us as a patient in the 1990’s for headache and jaw pain, and returned in 2008 for enhancement in the quality of sleep. Kat is so happy with the results that she has become a strong advocate of Montgomery Dental Medicine and now works here full time. She is the big welcoming smile that will greet you at the door.
